This unit was part of a decommissioned washing plant-removed by ourselves-it has been stored outside for a number of years-so the motor will probably need “shop” drying out-along with checking the pump out.

This plant was dismantled, transported and has been in open air storage for a number of years (the power pack has been stored undercover but unfortunately one of the main motors is missing and it will need a control panel and has a limited amount of flexible hydraulic pipes) hence ‘spares and repairs’. This unit has bag clamps on the discharge so the baled product is pushed into a bag.#

We purchased [3] of these units many years ago-from a decommissioned “Energy from Waste site”-this is the last one.
They were mounted on the floor above Industrial Pelletisers-to compact and flake commercial waste-the “feed stock” to make fuel pellets on the floor below.
It will need twin electric motors-for it to work as it should.
The test video was taken [reducing plastic waste] was with us powering the unit with a farm tractor-using a heavy duty pto propshaft.
[It had to work at an angle that was too acute-which made the knocking sound in the video].
It also did a successful shredding trial on-out of date bottles and tinned drinks.

We purchased this unit many years ago-[we had it wired up and running a few years ago]-but it’s been stored inside unused since then.
The blade length is 6ft 7in-[as you can see from the plate photo]-it cuts 1/8 mild steel or 14 swg stainless.
